A Midsummer Night’s Dream Cast List for 12 players

A Midsummer Night’s Dream lends itself to play-reading. The three different casts (the court; the rude mechanicals; the fairies) allows a good distribution of parts across the readers. However, for playing scenes, there aren’t many scenes which are dialogues for 2 players. A Midsummer Night’s Dream is an early play, and in his early plays Shakespeare seems to have mostly written scenes for large number of characters.

Players-Shakespeare.com’s MFFEV5 edition of A Midsummer Night’s Dream provides castings for 6 to 12 playreaders.  This casting is for 12 players.
